The following are the areas of law that I practice

                     This area of practice includes Interstate Adoptions (where the adopting party is in a different state from the minor child being  adopted), in state adoptions where both parties are residents of Alabama, and stepparent adoptions. 

                     This area of practice includes Chapter 7 (This is a complete liquidation of debts), Chapter 11 (This is a debt reorganization usually used by businesses but can also be used by individuals under certain circumstances), Chapter 12 (This is an adjustment of debts of the family farmer), and Chapter 13 (This is used by individuals who want to repay a portion or all of their debt but under a structured payment schedule managed by the Court system).

                     This area of practice includes Child Support Modification, dealing with the non-custodial parent who is behind on making child support payments or who refuses to make child support payments (The Dead Beat Parent).  This area of practice also deals with parents who wish to obtain custody of their child or children.

                     The Civil Litigation area of practice normally involves the common negligence lawsuit cases such as personal injury, accidents, assault and battery, automobile accidents, defective product accidents, drunk driving accidents, false arrest, libel and slander, medical malpractice, slip and fall accidents, and workplace accidents.

                     The Criminal Litigation area of practice deals with defending people who have been accused of a criminal act such as robbery, assault and battery, trespassing, harassment, etc.

                     This area of practice includes the Uncontested Divorce where both parties can mutually agree on the terms of the divorce and the Contested Divorce where the parties cannot come to a mutual agreement on the terms of the divorce.

                     This area of practice is a catchall phrase covering all other aspects of the family not mentioned in the areas listed here that may deal with the immediate or extended family.

                     This area of practice concentrates solely on the juvenile, a person under the age of 19.  A juvenile, because they are not adults, does not have the same rights and privileges as adults do.  There are specific Alabama State Code Statutes dealing with juveniles and must be strictly adhered to.  This area of practice covers both criminal and civil litigation.

                     This area of practice involves having the Court order DNA testing to determine if the alleged father is in fact the father of the minor child for purposes of child support, inheritance, or any other legal matter where paternity may become an issue.

                     This area of practice covers the creation of a Will to meet the needs of an individual who has specific wishes for the transfer of their property upon their death.  It also covers the creation of a Trust to meet the needs of the individual, the individual's family members, any charities the individual whishes to support, and to assist the individual in minimizing the tax consequences of probate upon ones death.

                    This area of practice also covers the probation of an individual’s Will upon their death.

                     This area of practice is a general catchall to cover any other need of an individual.  It includes the creation of a Power of Attorney for the individual, creation of a business (to include Limited Liability Companies and Corporations), contracts creation and disputes, and general legal advice and assistance for the individual and the business entity.
