I am originally from Florida and moved to Montgomery while serving in the United States Air Force. I left active duty service in 1988 and joined the Alabama Air National Guard. While in the Air Force I was a computer systems analyst working on computer system programs for Air Force mainframe systems. Since leaving the Air Force, I have continued to be a mainframe computer systems analyst. I have also worked extensively with client-server architecture, personal computers, Internet access, and several other types of computer architecture. Much of this system analysis work has dealt with the Year 2000 (Y2K) problem.
I graduated from Jones School of Law in December 1997 and passed the Alabama State Bar exam in February 1998. I have maintained a general law practice in the local Montgomery area since that time. I am licensed to practice law in the Circuit, District, and Appellate levels in the Alabama State Court system, and the U.S. Federal Court system. I am a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, the Alabama Young Lawyers Association, and the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.
